Biker seriously with life threatening after car collision which closed Bedworth road for hours

A major road between Bedworth and Bulkington was stopped for hours after a biker was severely injured in a collision with a car. Yesterday afternoon, Warwickshire Police had to block off a portion of Bedworth Road.
It happened after 999 calls of a car and motorbike collision. Three ambulances and a paramedic officer were dispatched by West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) together with the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the incident.
Medics found the biker, who has not been identified, had suffered serious injuries. The driver of the car, a woman, also had potentially serious injuries, a WMAS spokesperson confirmed.
Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were dispatched to the location after we received a call at 1:30 p.m. regarding an RTC on Bedworth Road close to Bulkington, Bedworth, according to a WMAS spokesperson. “When firefighters arrived, they found that a car and a motorbike had collided.
“After receiving emergency medical attention at the scene from ambulance personnel, the man who was riding a motorbike with severe injuries was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.” The female driver of the vehicle received treatment for possibly severe wounds and was then transferred to the same hospital for additional care.”
